Day 217 "Outdoor Room" pen&ink 9 x 8

We have been clearing out and organizing around the house, and reclaimed our porch recently from all the stuff we had accumulated there over time.  It is now a lovely sanctuary... a couple of sturdy wicker chairs, a new rug, sweet coffee table, billowing flag and that's it.  It is my new space each morning.  I love it.
This is my two hundred seventeenth daily drawing.  Thank you for your continued interest in the world through my eyes.  

Day 121 "His and Hers" pen, ink, marker 9 x 6

There is a lovely
home down the street from us, with these two rockers on the side porch.  One rocker is much more simple design than the other.  One is carved oak.  The other is more of a classic country porch rocker.  The two rockers were sitting side by side, with their fronts reaching out to the sun, and I did a drawing of them.  They are very inviting, a sweet conversation nook on the porch.
