Day 187 "Mercato" 9 x 10 ink and marker

Another image from the North End of Boston, caught one evening.  I love the warm glow inside the storefronts as people pass by on the streets in the evening.  There are 24 hour cannoli shops, and people on the streets at all hours.  It's lovely. This "mercato" or "market" has wine, cheese, olive oil... enough said.  Wonderful shop.    This is my hundred eighty-seventh daily drawing.  Thank you for your continued interest.

"North End" 9 x 12 pen & ink

One block off Hanover Street in Boston's North End is Bova's 24-hour bakery, great place for a late night treat.  It has a welcoming glow a block or two off the main drag, and is literally a sweet spot.
This is my 67th  daily drawing.  Thanks for looking

"Modern Pastry" pen & ink 8 x 9 #Inktober 5

A busy night at Boston's North End icon, Modern Pastry.  I love evening in the city.  The line of people forming on the street, patiently waiting their cannoli, or pizzelle, or ricotta pie, or those deliciously over sweet pistachio vibrant green cookies.... yum.
